Water-soluble magnesium sulfate (Magnesium Sulfate) is a common compound with the chemical formula MgSO₄. Solubility: magnesium sulfate is easily soluble in water, and its solubility increases with temperature. At 20°C, the solubility in water is about 710mg/mL (trihydrate) and it can produce different hydrates such as monohydrate, dihydrate, tetrahydrate, pentahydrate, hexahydrate, heptahydrate and dodecahydrate.

Physical Properties:Anhydrous magnesium sulphate is a white or off-white powder with a density of 2.66kg/m³ and a melting point of 1124℃. It is slightly soluble in ether, easily absorbs moisture, and changes to saline magnesium sulfate when heated to 450°C in air
Uses: Magnesium sulphate is used as a fertiliser supplement in agriculture to provide magnesium and sulphur essential for plant growth. In medicine, it is used as a laxative and anticonvulsant. Industrially, it is used in tanning, explosives, fertilisers, papermaking, porcelain, printing dyes and so on.
Safety: magnesium sulphate should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse, with the temperature of the warehouse not exceeding 48℃, and protected from moisture. Protect from rain and sunlight when transporting. When loading and unloading, take it gently and put it down lightly, prevent the packing from being broken
Packing: Usually lined with polythene plastic.
